Covered Transport & Secure Movement
We offer covered, enclosed vehicle transport to move your car safely between our indoor vehicle storage facility and any destination – whether that’s a dealership, specialist, restoration workshop, event, or your home. Each movement is handled by experienced professionals using purpose-built equipment to ensure total protection throughout the journey.
Collection, Delivery & Concierge Support
Need your car ready the moment you return from a trip? Our Platinum package includes an airport collection and handover service, where we’ll meet you on arrival and bring you directly to your vehicle at our indoor vehicle storage facility. This concierge-style service is ideal for frequent travellers or clients attending events, and it’s also available as an optional add-on with any of our other storage packages.
Our team can coordinate directly with dealers, service centres, or event organisers, taking care of logistics and timing on your behalf—so you don’t have to.
As part of this service, your vehicle undergoes a thorough pre-transport inspection and preparation process within our secure indoor vehicle storage environment:
- Condition Check – a detailed inspection report and photo documentation before departure.
- Secure Enclosed Transport – GPS-tracked carriers for maximum protection.
- Delivery Confirmation – upon arrival, we verify condition, provide updates, and prepare for storage or handover.

When a car should be transported rather than driven
Some journeys are worse for a car than storage ever is. Transport makes sense when the drive itself is the risk.
- The car is not road legal — no MOT, no tax, or mid-restoration
- Long motorway runs on a car that does two thousand miles a year, where the mileage matters to its value
- Winter and salted roads, particularly for anything with original paint or chrome
- To and from shows and auctions, where arriving clean is the whole point
- Buying at distance, where a long drive home on unfamiliar brakes and tyres is a genuine risk
The rule of thumb: if the drive would put more wear, weather or risk on the car than the transport costs, transport it.
Enclosed or open?
Open transport is a standard multi-car trailer. Cheaper, widely available, and the vehicle is exposed to weather, spray and stone chips for the whole journey. Fine for a workhorse or a project car.
Enclosed transport is a covered box, usually with hydraulic or low-angle loading and soft strapping. The car arrives in the condition it left. For anything with paint you care about, or ground clearance that will not survive a steep ramp, it is the only sensible option.
Ask about the loading angle before anything else. A low car on a steep ramp scrapes, and that is the most common transport damage there is.
Collection and delivery, included
Storage with us includes collection and delivery within 65 miles of Stalybridge at no extra charge. That reaches all of Greater Manchester and Cheshire and stretches to Leeds, Sheffield and Liverpool.
In practice it means most owners never drive to us. The keys are handed over at home, the car arrives here, goes through the eight-stage intake, and goes into a bay held at 55% relative humidity. When you want it back, we bring it.

Getting the Car Here in the First Place
Transport, not price, is what stops most storage enquiries. The car is SORN, out of MOT, or simply not running.
