Secure Indoor Storage is the tier most owners choose. It is a dedicated indoor bay for one vehicle inside our purpose-built hall in Stalybridge, in the heart of Greater Manchester: enclosed, dry, alarmed, covered by CCTV, with controlled access and a daily visual check by the team who work here. Every car is photographed on arrival so there is a record of exactly how it came in.
The humidity in the hall is monitored at 55% RH. On this tier it is monitored, not controlled: if the car has leather, chrome, veneer or old wiring, or it is staying for many months, the dehumidified tier holds the air at 55% RH with dehumidifiers and costs £200 a month. For most modern cars, second cars and anything laid up for a season, a secure indoor bay does the job.

The hall is dry and the humidity is read and logged. Active control with dehumidifiers is the £200 tier, explained below. Breathable covers and battery conditioners are add-ons.

Servicing and repairs handled in-house, so the car does not have to leave the building to be worked on.
When to Choose the Dehumidified Tier Instead
Both tiers are the same bay, the same daily check and the same security. The difference is the air. On Secure Indoor the humidity is monitored and the hall is dry; on Dehumidified the air is held at 55% RH by dehumidifiers and logged. Rust accelerates above roughly 60% RH; leather and veneer can dry out and crack well below 40%. Fifty-five is where a car sits happily for years.
Secure Indoor, £150 a month: modern cars, daily drivers off the road, second and company cars, cars awaiting sale, sports cars over winter, most stays under six months. Dehumidified, £200 a month: classics, chrome and brightwork, leather and wood interiors, convertibles, anything laid up six months or more. You can move a car between tiers; tell us and we re-bay it. A lock-up rents you a door and a roof. A self-storage unit rents you a dry box the car fits into. Both are dimensional storage: the space exists, the car goes in it, and everything that happens to the car afterwards is your problem. Indoor Car Storage Cost: £150 a Month, and What Is Extra
The price is £150 a month including VAT for a secure indoor bay, with a one-month minimum and no maximum. There are no admin fees and no deposit held against the car. That is the whole price for the bay, the daily check, the photographs and the security.
Three things are optional and priced separately: a soft breathable indoor cover, an automatic battery conditioner that keeps the charge healthy through months of standing, and collection from your door, available within 65 miles of SK15 and quoted for your postcode. Valeting, servicing and repairs from the on-site workshop are quoted per job. Ask for the add-on prices when you enquire, or see the full price list.

The 8-Step Arrival Process
Every car goes through the same eight steps before it reaches its bay, whichever tier you choose. Nothing corrosive gets sealed under a cover, and nothing goes in unrecorded.
- Condition photographed a full visual record on arrival, so there is never a question about how it came in.
- Hand washed and dried road salt and grime removed, then air-dried completely.
- Tyres set to storage pressure raised pressures prevent flat spots and sidewall damage over months of standing.
- Battery checked state of charge recorded; an automatic conditioner is connected if you take the add-on.
- Brake discs cleaned handbrake released, wheels chocked, discs cleaned so corrosion cannot seize the brakes.
- Interior protected moisture absorbers placed; leather treated where the interior needs it.
- ID tagged and logged every vehicle indexed against its bay and its owner.
- Covered and bayed a soft breathable cover is fitted if you take the add-on; never plastic. Then the daily checks begin.
